The deep sea is home to lots of different creatures. Some of the creatures have never even been discovered. One of the creatures is called a yeti crab. They put their furry arms over hydrothermal vents to get food to eat. Hydrothermal vents are black smokers that are at the bottom of the sea. It has bacteria in it for creatures to eat. The goblin shark can push out its jaws to catch food like fish. There is lots of pressure at the bottom of the sea and no sunlight and it's very cold. Angler fish have a fishing rod at the top of their head with a big light. When its food tries to eat the light, thinking it's food, the angler fish tries to gobble them up. But its food has a defence against the angler fish. It spreads out a glowing glue that confuses the angler fish so it attacks the glue and its food swims away!

The colossal squid is the biggest squid on earth. It lives at the bottom of the sea. It has glowing dots around its eye. Squid have arms and tentacles. The arms have hooks at the end, which helps it grab its food and hold on.
